On FB Rice being awarded New Zealand Impact Case of the Year at the Managing IP APAC Awards 2022, a significant patent prosecution case, acting for Ganymed Pharmaceuticals, which prompted the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand to alter its patent examination procedures: “We were in unknown territory when we went into the hearing on this case and the fantastic result could not have been achieved without the technical expertise, flexibility, and support of my colleague John Landells and barrister Clive Elliott KC.
